STRIKE OUT USH with REBECCA ALEXANDER
USHER SYNDROME AWARENESS DAY AT TAMPA BAY RAYS
Ceremonial First Pitches For Usher Syndrome Awareness
Rebecca Alexander, a board member of the Usher Syndrome Society who is living with Usher syndrome (USH), is bringing awareness to USH by throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Major League Baseball Games this season.
In 2015, the Usher Syndrome Coalition declared the third Saturday in September as our global “Usher Syndrome Awareness Day.” In support of the Coalition's community efforts, this September 14, the Usher Syndrome Society will be celebrating Usher Syndrome Awareness Day at Tropicana Field with the Tampa Bay Rays. All proceeds from this day will be donated to the Usher Syndrome Coalition to help accelerate a cure.
Prior to the game, the Usher Syndrome Society will feature a Pre-Game Usher Syndrome Awareness Day Event. Please register below for this free event in order to receive updates regarding location and details.
