For three weeks, the USH Society and Rebecca Alexander helped raise awareness of the history and importance of canes for those with visual impairment or blindness. We culminated this campaign on Daylight Savings Day because this is the day that each of us begins to lose daylight. To bring awareness to the Red & White striped cane, which specifically designates the user as having both vision and hearing difficulties, we launched the sale of red and white dog collars and leashes.
