Founder Nancy Corderman is the mother of four children, two of them are living with Usher syndrome. She has a degree as a double major in Art and Psychology from Trinity College in CT. and graduate work in textile design from Parsons School of Design in NYC. Nancy has worked as a textile designer for apparel companies like Christian Dior NY and then transitioned to home fashions which included bedding, rug designs, tabletop and more for companies like Pine Cone Hill and Neiman Marcus. Nancy is using her artistic background to drive the mission of the Usher Syndrome Society by finding creative ways to bring awareness and funding in hopes of finding a cure for Usher syndrome.
