WE HAVE THE STRENGTH TO FIND A CURE
Brendon Ayanbadejo and Rebecca Alexander joined forces to create an intense workout at Century City in Los Angeles as part of USH Society's Sight Sound & Strength Campaign to raise awareness and money to find a cure for Usher syndrome.
The day was spectacular with the sun shining and the temperatures in the mid-seventies.The venue was outside in a busy location with 40 six foot high portraits of people living with Usher syndrome flanking the perimeter of our workout space and the interior consisted of donated workout mats from Lululemon, water bottles donated from Essentia, custom printed workout towels, and our custom exclusively made dotUP attachable dots. There was a live DJ blasting motivating music while Rebecca and Brendon hyped up the crowd for an intense workout.
Our goals were awareness, education and fundraising for Usher syndrome in a public venue. We are so proud of what we accomplished.
