Join Rebecca Alexander and the Usher Syndrome Society for an accessible virtual yoga session in honor of Usher Syndrome Awareness Day. This class be accessible to all levels of yoga (experience not necessary). Rebecca will walk you through every pose with an ASL interpreter and captioning will also be provided.
Rebecca Alexander is an award-winning author, psychotherapist, extreme athlete, disability rights advocate, and motivational speaker who is living with the rare disease, Usher syndrome, she is progressively losing both her vision and hearing. Today, about 10 degrees of her vision remains and without the use of 2 cochlear implants, she is completely deaf.
Rebecca completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification for Trauma-Informed Adaptive and Accessible Yoga from The Warrior Flow School.
