Orangetheory Fitness X USH

On June 3, 2023, Orangetheory Fitness studios around the country came together to educate the public and raise research funds for the rare disease Usher syndrome, the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness.

Together we raised thousands of dollars, all of which will go directly to critical hearing and vision research and directly impact the lives of people around the world living with Usher syndrome.

In addition to the studio classes happening simultaneously in OTF studios around the country, we held one “live” class in Park Potomac, MD where Rebecca Alexander partnered with OTF coach, Rebecca Burow to teach a powerful, inclusivity focused HIIT class. During this class, Rebecca Alexander shared her deeply meaningful story of living with Usher syndrome and the important role that fitness plays in her life.
