Giving Tuesday 2025
With your help, we are changing the future of usher syndrome!
We have a lot to be grateful for this year and we feel very lucky to have your support in our mission to raise awareness and research funds for Usher syndrome. From launching another billboard takeover in Times Square for Usher Syndrome Awareness Day, to executing our first immersive exhibition in New York City, to continuing to fund our Translational Research Grants and PUSH Research Initiative, we’ve made tremendous strides in 2025.
Below, please find a short video from the Mullarkey family, who were featured in our Every Second Counts commercial this year!
A note from Nancy Corderman:
“As we come closer to the end of 2025, I want to thank the Mullarkey family for their openness in sharing their Usher syndrome story with the world. I am a parent of two children with Usher syndrome, I understand the shock that comes with the diagnosis. I understand the emotional and physical challenges, and I know in my heart that sharing our stories publicly is essential. Raising awareness helps people truly understand the balance between living with a disorder that causes progressive deafness and blindness and the urgent need to find treatments to stop it. I want to thank everyone who is joining us on this journey.”
