Tori Banu
Tori Smyly Banu holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Babson College. She began her consumer marketing career in New York City working for JPMorganChase, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and LittleMissMatched, and then moved back to the Boston area, to work for DAVIDsTEA and to raise her family.
In addition to being a board member and active volunteer for the USH Society, she is also the co-president of her son’s preschool board. She, her husband Michael and their two children, Wils and Penelope, currently reside in Massachusetts. Her son, Wils, was born with a moderately-severe hearing loss and wears hearing aids. Just after his first birthday, he was genetically diagnosed with Usher Syndrome type 2A.
Besides being a devoted mother trying to cure Usher syndrome, she is an avid New England Patriots fan and a beach worshipper.
