USH X Urban Wild 2025
The Usher Syndrome Society’s annual fundraising event is dedicated to raising vital funds for Usher syndrome (USH) research, while simultaneously educating the public about living with this rare disease. The evening includes interactive experiences where attendees can harness their inner strength and understand some of the challenges faced by someone living with Usher syndrome while also learning more about USH, the Usher Syndrome Society, and the research their contributions are helping to fund.
100% of the proceeds benefit Usher syndrome research!
This year, the Usher Syndrome Society’s Sight, Sound, & Strength fundraiser will be held at Urban Wild in Boston on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 from 6PM-8:30PM.
Urban Wild is a restaurant, beer garden, bowling alley, live music venue, and outdoor game space, all-in-one!
This year’s program will feature a special musical guest, a touring folk singer-songwriter living with Retinitis Pigmentosa, who will perform several of his songs and then join Rebecca Alexander, an USH Society ambassador and board member, for a conversation about his experience as a musician living with vision loss. Guests will also be invited to try an experiential deafblind bowling activity, a blind Beer tasting in the beer garden, and access to our Shine A Light portrait exhibit.
